Partnership with KEPSA

KESYDO is a member and partner of Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA). We have partnered on the Kenya Youth Empowerment Project (KYEP) where as an organization we take in youths between the age of 15-29 for internship, and we deploy some to our partner organizations depending on their field of training. We engage interns on Life Skills Training, core business skills Training, entrepreneurship training, MSE Skills Training, ICT training and other Sector specific training. Partnership with YSA 

Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) is an annual campaign that celebrates and mobilizes millions of children and youth who improve their communities each day of the year through service and servicelearning. Established in 1988, GYSD is the largest service event in the world and is now celebrated in over 100 countries. It is organised and coordinated worldwide with youth service America (YSA)Both in 2008, 2009 and 2014, KESYDO was the Country Partner charged with coordinating the event in the country. In 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 we were the East Africa and Southern Africa Regional Partner for GYSD. In this region KESYDO was able to mobilize more than 300 events in 21 countries, for the 4 years, bringing on board more 200,000 youth volunteers.
